O What a Night!

Beautiful smiles
Lots of Laughs
The most delicous eggplant baby stacks ever!
Freshly squeezed ice cold lime water, free refills
Central air on muggy night in the country
and
for desert:
strawberries with not just cool whip but whipped cool whip!
and of course
there was decorating shells freshly picked off of Revere Beach (nothing but the best!) with paints and a sparkling glitter glaze

My first born, Jordan, i was a young and clueless mama but we got through it just fine, he was the happiest little babylove. How blessed I have been.
And the answer to the question up above "where did my babies go"? They didn't go anywhere because they have always been in my heart and will stay in my heart forever....

Sprinkler fun in East-a-Bost!

Today we took a little ride over to East-a-bost to check out the newly installed sprinklers, that have been in the works for atleast 3 summers now, so finally on July 4th they officially came on! And we happily found a parking spot (parking spots are no joke in east-a-bost) and the kids loved it. Unfortunately, as you will see from the pictures, Max started off loving it but ended up on the blanket resting, he came down with some sort of fever, because it is so not like Macky to just lay down and rest when there is a huge park and sprinkler right there in front of him. We knew he wasn't himself but do you think I stop taking the shots, nope, I gutta capture even the not so well moments. Luckily, no belly aches or vomitting, just a low key, sleepy, feverish little guy, we are so not use to low key. I hope with a good night sleep, he will be back to his wild n crazy love buggin self manana!
Jordan tried to get Bella in the large sprinklers but she wasn't having it, instead she splased in the little drain puddles and even at one point tried to dip her head in the puddle (dare devil) and then she went to stop and smell the yellow flowers. Which we all need to do every now and then. She really likes to pretend that the flowers make her sneeze and she goes "aaachu", it's her little thang, she does it to fake or real flowers. She's Bella Lu & she's kind of cool.

We'll definetly be back to the sprinklers when Macky is feeling better!

Today's summer field trip: Salem Willows!

Bella loved riding the carousel, she picked the doggy to ride, they also had roosters & pigs & many horses, but she loves the dogs!
Max, just enjoys every second of life, here he is checking out the ceiling as we spin it around, but here big daddy was feeling the dizziness, us old folk can't handle the rides like we use too. I was snapping away with my camera just to not focus on the dizziness, so I snapped big daddy feeling little bit dizzy....
Just having some laughs on the bug ride and I loved the fact that they all wanted to sit together in 1 little bug, that made my whole day cause it showed me that no matter how much they fight it out that underneath it all they truly love eachother and gut eachother's back and would much rather ride together as 1 in the bug.
Again, they all decided to sit together on the sweet sparkling fire engine & Jordan rang the very loud bell for all to enjoy the sound.
It's these spur of the moment field trips that are always the most fun. Just watching Max laugh on the rides makes the trip so worth it, his face lights up & he really lives in the moment, we could all learn alot from this little guy.
