GAVIN DEGRAW

How could I not blog post this one! I met Gavin Degraw the proof is in the pudding baby!
Look at that smile! What a nice down to earth sweet darling he was.
He actually called me "darling" when I gave him a little birthday present. It was one of my children and mine's favorite book "The Peace Book" by Todd Parr. And when I met him (I was lucky enough to be first in line to meet him, due to one of the bouncers remembering me from high school, so that bouncer hooked it up and brought me to the front of the line so I could personally give him his present.)
Anyway when I met him, I was pretty relaxed because we had had a few brewsky's as we (Erica & me) rocked it out at his concert. So as I gave him his birthday present he said "o thank you so much darling"...no guy has ever called me darling before, maybe a couple of old ladies have but never a cutes guy like himself.
He shook my hand and I asked him if i could get a hug for the road, yep those were my exact words "can i get a hug for the road"(that was so the beer talkin, cause I would of never had the ballinas to ask him that if I didn't have a few in me)
And we hugged, it was a sweaty lovely hug and we went our separate ways. He had a line of ladies to "meet n greet" and I had 3 little angels waiting for me at home.
It was a "magical fun night" I will always be grateful for.
He puts on the best show ( I have seen him twice and am going to see him again on September 4th!!) There is just something about him that touches my heart, when he is playing that piano & guitar & that voice, amazing!!! He is one of a kind, so talented & so geniune. Love you, Gavin!
Just rock it out at the concert, did anyone else have their hands in the air, nope. Yep, shake the hand, he has gut his eye on something and it sure ain't me...lmao Here I was just letting Gavin know I had a little something for him, from me and my kids, he tried to peek a boo it in the bag to see what it was but he never did open it right there in front of me, I hope he liked it.
