At 46 Howard, on Halloween Eve a Halloween potion es brewing.
3 cutes have prepared a potion,
"chicken soup potion",
loaded with lots of baby carrots,
red bliss chopped up potatoes
and
seasoned chicken, a few onion slices added in for flavor ( but never eaten )
and
man, did they have a blast helping Mama make this soup!
These really are the special times, the times I know they will look back as they get older and really cherish & smile about.


I love Maxwell's little brown hand around Jordan's neck, so cute! Max, the Preschool Wizard stirring it up with intensity & concentration.

Obama put out a 30 minute documentary presenting himself and what he wants to do for this country as President, what he stands for, yes some said "overkill" but to sit and watch this 30 minute whatever you wanna call it.
I have to say, I cried.
Politics don't usually bring me to tears, come on, they're politicians!
But there is something about this guy, since I've gotten to learn & know about him, ( and I don't say much is good about myself, but I will admit I can read people very well, good judge of character I am...) he seems just a little bit more sincere for a politician, I am well aware he is 100% American ( Not MUSLIM! ), and what really touched my heart and made me actually cry was when he spoke about his children tonight in this documentary, correction his wife spoke on his behalf about his daughters and she said "he always makes time for them" , "he read all the Harry Potter books with his oldest daughter, Malia" "everynight no matter where he is, he always talks on the phone with them, for as long as they want to talk"..i guess that hit home because I don't have that type of father, I don't know that kind of relationship with my father, never have, never will and though he is still alive & in my life,sometimes that is still not enough.
And yet we are both voting for Barack Obama, kind of strange, huh? We don't agree on much, but we agree on Obama.
So it really made me emotional to see the pictures of him hugging and loving and really being there for his girls. It was touching, regardless of who you chose to vote for. One things for sure he is a loving awesome Dad.
But just one more thing,
considerate this sweet picture when
you are in the booth on November 4th,
please....Do you really want someone who can even be captured in a photo like this, running the country? After all we've been through these past 8 years,

A big old box!
We've all heard it. You give a baby lots of cool presents on their first birthday but what they seem most interested in, is usually the boxes and wrapping paper, right?
So no need to buy lots of presents and get stressed out over what to get them for their birthday's, even at these ages. You can still just give them a big box and call it a day!
Look at how much fun they had in the big box:
fyi: Bella has underwears on and doesn't she look like she is sailing in a boat, Titanic style.
fyi: yes, Jordan has green scalp, when he went to the barber shop, their barber man Ayoub, sprays funky green hair dye in their hair, just for fun, but Jordan's just ain't coming off the scalp, looks good on the pillow in the background, too.

And then eventually they busted it right out of that box, which isn't a surprise, because they are quite the destructible little children....and they think it is hysterical that they basically break just about everything they get their hands on, so here they are "breaking it down" cause the box couldn't hold them in any longer.

I love this little boy and was so sad when he passed away on June 22, 2004 at the age of 13. Three weeks shy of his 14th birthday. He was & always will be an inspiration to us all.

She's apart of my life.

Since I was a little girl, I have loved her and tonight for the very first time I got to be in her presence. She's one strong-willed - don't take no shit kind - nothing's gona hold her down kind of lady and I love her for it!

To see her perform live was awesome! She rocked, literally she rocked it out on the guitar, she really was impressive rockin it out like a true rocker girl.
Then she took it back to the 80's and sang "get into the groove" and "borderline" ( rock n roll style), she even jump roped and did some double dutch and she shouted out and asked the crowd "are you ready to VOTE Boston?" "it's your responsibility to your country!" and she just was even better then I thought she would be in everyway, the way she danced and how well she sang. Her voice was very strong and sounded awesome and the endurance and stamina that she has at 50 years old is freakin inspiring, let me tell ya. Cause I had to sit my ars ( not ass, arrrrsssssssss) down a few times cause wearin the stilletto's ain't something this mama does much these days.
And to think I actually had an extra ticket and ended up selling it to a scalper, right outside the Fleet, wow.
I can honestly look back at all these pictures and almost remember what was going on in my life, she has always reinvented herself and yes, she does have a trashy side to her but she balances it off with an intelligent mind and generous heart and her book "The English Rose's" is awesome ( it has a really powerful message, I look forward to reading it to my little girl someday).
