The legs can't get up but the ears still do...
Still even at almost 16 years old (that's 112 in dog years!) Senior Sam still feels
the rush when she sees one of these babies:
and so we sing:
"From a distance you look like my friend,
even though we are at war.
From a distance I just cannot comprehend
what all this fighting is for."
yep, that is what Senior Sam would sing to that little squirrel if she could sing, because for so many years Sam has tried to sneak it up on those little rascals, back in the younger days she would do "the creep" in which she'd take 2 sneaky steps forward in hopes of not startling the poor little squirrel but sure enough that squirrel always got away! Through the years Sammi chased and creeped and barked and tried to jump fences most times just crashing into the fence but always trying to make friends ( or attack ) those darn squirrels.
Now age has gotten the best of her and she can no longer get up too well on her own but just seeing her labrador hunter ears rise up at the sight of Mr. Squirrel made me smile. I miss my old "young" Sammi.
It is so hard to say goodbye....
Here are some very special

It's coming soon and I am ready!
I love the fall. Love love love Halloween!
It's right up there with Christmas for me.
We got the spooky fun Halloween decor rockin the house at 46 Howard! And
spooky Mr. Pirate with his big hoop earring, (that I got at Walgreens last year for 30 dollar) is chillin outside on our front porch.
It took Bella just a few days to get to know the spooky new friends (aka, decorations) all around the house. At first, she was very scared but now they are like family to her and she is very proud to show everybody Mr. Pirate on our front porch. So here he is, in the hood:

WE LOVE LEGO'S
My kids love lego's and I am pretty happy about that because it is a nice toy that allows them to be creative and use their beautiful imaginations to the extreme. It takes the boys away from Xbox 360, where they mute out (which makes me a little bit nervous how addicted they are to that xbox))to a place of brain stimulation and fun times with their imaginations.
Thank God for Lego's!
I am asking Santa to bring some more cool Lego sets for Christmas, ya know what I mean!
Here's some cute shots of the little ones in Lego action:
Notice Bella's backpack is as big as her. I love it! And she is rockin the 1 glove like Michael Jackson, i can't stand it, too funny the creations she puts together. Look at that get up. She's funky!!! Little man Macky wore his Mr. Happy shirt and looks mighty happy holding up his lego star wars droid guy-whatever-it-is-called-thing
Notice the animal cracker crumbs on the rug, they were used as meteors that crashed down, looks good.

So how do you handle stress?
So how do you handle stress? Below are some ways to help ease the aches & pains (contributed to fibromyalgia which i suffer from, it's not fun at all), I have posted them to remind myself and it got me thinking to just put the question out there to all you bloggers. How do you handle your stress?
We all have it, we all have to handle it, so I just wanted to know what helps you to get through the stressful times.
Stop fighting your pain/stress. As long as you fight it, your pain will control you and the vicious cycle will continue!
Close your eyes and visualize the place that hurts. Mentally send the area your love and sympathy, give it a hug, and let it rest.
Distract yourself...imagine a place with no pain, no problems, no kids yelling or whatever your "stress" may be. Listen to soft, relaxing music and trust it to help you to heal all emotions.
Invest in your stress...what makes it flare up, and try to avoid those situations. Explore what makes it worse, and also what makes it better and then make an attempt to avoid those situations or stimuli.
You have my permission to...Fill your life with people who are kind to you. You may still have to deal with those that are not, but you can do so on a superficial level. You are not required to keep in your life anyone who is toxic to you...in other words don't let them get to you.

It's true, i have it and it sucks
PMS ~ "the evil crazies lurking in a woman's body before the red sea comes in sight"
I do have some cute pictures to upload from the very fun Pampered Chef party but they are on my Mama's camera. So as for now i will just blog about pms.
Every month it bites me in the ass. Every month i become a raging crazy lunatic, my kids must think "who is this lady and where did she take my mama?" cause it is no longer me. I am irritable and more impatient then usual, tears fall, 5 pounds are added, extra cookies are eaten, my muscles ache like i just ran a marathon and all i did was eat a pack of cookies, cramps arrive, some cutes pimps arrive on the face and sleep becomes my favorite hobby. Sounds like fun, huh? Every month! I think i need some help.
And I didn't even have the desire to blog and that is so not like me!
So there you have it. We all know it. PMS Sucks! Just 1 more thing us tough cookies (LADIES!) have to endure and we endure it, unless you have been lucky enough not to have it. We do it all ~ the laundry, cook, clean, raise the babies, hold the children, break up the fights, help with the homework, read bedtime stories, wipe the little booties, change the sheets, the bills, the grocery list, buy birthday presents, plan the parties, run the parties, take them to parties or wherever the sweet darlings need to go, lay out the clothes for school, listen, laugh, cry, love, sometimes scream, yep we deal with it all ( i am sure i left some stuff out)and on top of all that we deal with our stupid pms and at the end of the day we still know how to shake it on the dance floor, not that we get to too many dance floors anymore! Holla if ya hear me!!!
HOLLAAAAAAAAAAAA!
That sounds good. Sometimes we just need to holla
to vent
and
know
we
are
not
alone.
Remember, PMS sucks but we don't!

Maxwell's in the House!
My little guy began his preschool yesterday at the Whelan School (which is where his Grandma Gigi & big brother Jordan both attend).
As you can see from his shots below he was pretty cool, calm & collective about the big day.
Little sister Isa (aka Bella) was all ready to rock too. She had her pink butterfly lunchbox (from building 19, nothin but the best!) and she was ready. She really thought it was her time to start preschool, too. I felt bad. I esplained to her that she will go to her gymnastics school on Friday with Max. Me & Bella ended up having Papa Gino's pizza with Chick (Great Grandma to Bella) and hung out with Senior Sam, at my Mom's house in the sunshine. So Bella was pretty happy.
Max had a great first day and second day too.
My little lovebug sure is growing up!
But he'll be my lovebug forever in my heart, no matter how grown up he is.
Kick it back now ya'll, no first day of school jitters with this cool guy.
And here's Bella runnin it to catch up with cool guy Max, she really thought she was going, Oooooh my little pumpkinlove, you always bring smile to my face. "PEACE OUT"

"Don't be fooled by the rocks that I got, I'm still, I'm still Jenny from the block"
Yep, I just had to recap this little moment on the train from Saturday.
We were ridin back from our awesome trip from seeing Yo Gabba Gabba and we were soaked because the rain caught us in the commons on the walk back. But it actually felt good cause it was so darn humid that day.
So anyway, for some reason the seating arrangements on the train, left me and Bella seperated from all the boys and big Daddy and who hops on the train and cozy's up right next to me. A sweet older man very very tall and very very drunk. Smelled just like my father. And he was a mumblin and a grumblin and I just kept on talkin with Bella and then she picked her mosquito scab on her leg, so as I was getting a wipey out of my bag, some young homeboy thug types got on and sat across from us. And then I heard my new drunk friend say to them "she looks like her huh?, don't tell me, i know i know....it's Jenny from the block". I had to laugh and the thugs were smilin too. When 2 seats became empty near big Daddy we moved on down and I sang to big Daddy "don't be fooled by the rocks that i got, i'm still, i'm still, Jenny from the block"...and that ni tall drunk man got off the next stop, stumbled it out the door and waved "have a good night". Cutes.
He sure was drunk if he thought I looked like Jenny from the block!
But it was a good laugh while it lasted, so now I will dedicate that song to myself and always remember my new drunk old man friend.
One love.

DJ LANCE ROCK! "Don't Stop, Don't Give Up!" ~ a yo gabba gabba song
And we didn't stop.
We got on that orange line and got off at Downtown Crossing.
Then it was over to McDonald's for some unhealthy lunch and through the Commons
we went.
When these little ones saw the tents and big field with the stage, they started running. And they ran....
Finally, we had arrived!
Yes, we made it into Boston Commons.
Humid as ever but so excited to be seeing "Yo Gabba Gabba" ( i confess, I think i might have been just a little bit more excited then the kids about this field trip! )
We had the best time.
There was a tent with all children's books from Target. This was sponsored by Target. Target Rocks!
The kids loved looking in the book tent. We let each one pick out a special book.
Max found a little case full of "Cars" books, shapes, counting, colors & opposites.
Jordan & Moustapha ("best friends forever they are")each chose a Goosebumps chapter book.
And little Bella found a Fancy Nancy sticker book!
Then Bella got a target book bag and sat and decorated it with some markers and me.
Then we got a spot on the grass and the real fun began.
DJ LANCE ROCK Rocked on out on the stage and even jumped off the stage and ran around the grass high fiving the kids and parents. He was the nicest guy and how do i know that, because we got to meet him UP CLOSE & PERSONAL!!!!!!
He signed pictures in a little tent and while we waited patiently in line.
CHOO CHOO SOUL busted the moves and lyrics on stage. CHOO CHOO SOUL is on Playhouse Disney (warning only Mama's of little ones are going to understand this post).
Choo Choo Soul sings some pretty hip hoppin songs. Genneive is beauty latina girl and DC is the train conductor who breaks it down and bee bops.
Moose (aka Moustapha) and Jordan got right up front row to watch Genneive, they love her. Moose even yelled out "can i have your number"...yep, 8 years old tryin to kick it to Genneive! Only our Moose. If you knew you can't help but love him!
So they (the 4 boys, Donald, Max, Moose & Jordan) watched their girl on stage and me and Bella waited in line
to meet
sweet DJ LANCE.
First Max was up to meet "Lance Rock" and he was just in awe of him, i think he found it hard to believe that this man he sees daily on his tv screen was looking right at him and saying "hello Max". For the first time ever, our Max was speechless.
Then Bella sat on my lap and we kicked it with Lance Rock (the professional way to call him) and she said so softly to him "i love you", well that melted DJ Lance Rock's happy orange heart. He said to her "you're a cutie" and she turned and looked at me and said "mama, he called me a cutie"...
Jordan and Moose got their turns.
Jordan told him how we love when he says "BREAK IT DOWN" at the end of the show. So on his autograph, he wrote TO JORDAN "BREAK IT DOWN"! Your Friend, DJ LANCE ROCK.
And Moose just sat back and started a converstation with Mr. Lance Rock, he asked "could you give me and Jordan a shout out on the show"
yep....only Moose would request that!
It was

afternoon
that
we've

in

So sing it with me:
"Can we dance, yeah, let's do it, BREAK IT DOWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN"!
This is "DC" and "Gennieve" from Disney's Choo Choo Soul. I have to laugh because whenever Max & Bella see them on tv, they yell "look there's daddy" and for some crazy reason Bella thinks that's me singin, yep...i think it's cause on the show Gennieve wears big hoop earrings, cause besides that, come on! But it's cute how they think it's "mama" and "daddy" on tv.
